So change of plans, Shawn and I are now in St. Paul Minnesota for the rest of the summer. We moved up here in 2 days with cars fully loaded, and baby in the backseat. I don't think she's too fond of driving 1100 miles in 2 days.. Must be the Bingham in her..
Anyway, before we left, we had the opportunity to spend some time in Downtown Houston for Father's Day. It was such a great day! We went to Hermann Park and had a picnic by the pond. McKenzie was so cute.. Drinking water from Daddy's water bottle. We walked around the Japanese Garden they had, and once it finally reached over 105, we stripped McKenzie down to her skivvies and finished our walk.. Wish I could do that sometimes. Fortunately we left just as the heat was getting too much!! We fed the ducks and watched the sunset from our back porch. McKenzie gave Dad a card with her hand and foot print and gave Dad lots of smiles for his special day.
So grateful for my Husband, McKenzie's Dad, for his love and devotion to our little family. For each and every sacrifice, and for his beautiful testimony. He wears his heart on his sleeve. So grateful for my Dad, Bruce. For the Nobel and honorable Man that he is. I love going to places, where people he knows tells of what a good man he is. He is the pure example of service and turns everything to gold with his strong hand. And lastly, so grateful for my Father in heaven. With the love and patience that he has for me. For his constant care, and for blessing me every day of my life with so many simple pleasures. I have so much to be grateful for. What a wonderful blessing it is to have Fathers!
It's great up here in St. Paul. The weather is beautiful, the scenery enchanting, and I can't wait to start exploring! I don't want to miss a thing! Wonder how far it is to the Alamo from here. I might be closer to finding an igloo than that place! Chou!
