These are the casts of Joseph and Hyrum Smith just after they died. I for some reason thought this was absolutly amazing.. Joseph's face seems to be depicted so well in every painting of him.
Hyrum Smith's watch that saved him from one of the first deadly bullets, at the Martyrdom at Carthage Jail. You can still see the bullet hole.
A very old Picture of the Nauvoo Temple. Looks like a painting but it's not.
One of the origional Sun Stones from the Nauvoo Temple. So Cool!
I thank my ancestors for not only doing what they did in great faith in crossing the plains, to suffer much persecution, and endure to the end, but also for keeping these amazing artifacts that we can embrace, remember, enjoy, and share with our posterity. We must never forget their great faith, and live as they lived. With unfaltering devotion to their God and Religion. I only hope that I too can do amazing things that will make my lineage proud of me and embrace what I leave behind. What will you leave behind? Amen. and Amen.
